Theses Alive! Introduction
The Theses Alive! project was set up to promote the adoption of a management
system for electronic theses and dissertations in the UK. The project is being
run from the Edinburgh University Library with grant funding from the Joint
Information Systems Committee (JISC).
The project has two main deliverables that we aim to initially provide to the
staff and students of the University of Edinburgh:
- to create an online repository of digital PhD theses.
- to create an online submission system for electronic theses and
dissertations (ETD's) that mirrors the current submission process.
